Level 2 helpdesk & field engineer
Covering operating systems from Windows, macOS, Unix and ESXi.
We are a small IT company with big ambitions and we are looking for a support desk operator/field engineer to join our team. We provide IT services to customers in several different industries.
Services include managed services, support, installation, supply and consultancy.
Based at our office in central Leeds you will provide technical services to a variety of customers over telephone, email and remotely, in addition to working on projects and visiting customers. You will enjoy talking to and working with people and have great personal skills to work in many different situations.
You will be solving technical issues including:
Active Directory, Azure AD, Exchange, Group Policies, DHCP & DNS
Apple macOS, Apple OSX Server, iOS operating systems
Strong technical skills are essential, along with an ability to adapt, learn quickly and work independently.
Experienceof working on a support desk or technical environment.
Experience of supporting Client/Server operating systems.
Excellent communication skills
Full UK Driving licence
Experience in working for an MSP
Experience of media/print/publishing industries
Firewall and networking technologies (Router setup, Firewall configuration)
Email systems (Exchange, Postfix etc)
Command line (CMD, Shell, SSH, Telnet etc)
4 years experience or more
Working at Conformedia means getting stuck in. We are a small team which means you will be involved in all parts of the business and all aspects of our services. Some self management will be expected as we often have large projects that you will be able to get stuck into.
