Overview

The C W Herald wanted to adopt Xero accounting system whilst continuing to use their IPA QSales ad booking system.

Challenge

Straightforward integration was not possible so bespoke programming was required.

Social distancing required the project to be delivered remotely.

Solution

Conformedia's developers wrote a bespoke programme to bridge both systems.

Testing took place over several editions to ensure a smooth transition.

Outcomes

The bridge was remotely installed on to the Herald's live servers.

CWH now uses both the ad booking system alongside Xero.

No interruption or production downtime for the busy newspaper.
