Covering operating systems from Windows, macOS, Unix and ESXi.

 

We are a small IT company with big ambitions, and we are looking for a support desk engineer to join our team. We provide IT services to customers in several industries. Services include managed services, support, installation, supply and consultancy.

 

Initially, you will be based at our office in central Leeds, before we move to our new office in Morley, Leeds in the near future. You will provide technical services to a variety of customers over telephone, email and remotely, in addition to working on projects and visiting customers.

 

You will be solving technical issues including:

• Windows Client/Server

• Apple macOS, iOS operating systems

• Active Directory, Azure AD, Exchange, Group Policies, DHCP & DNS

• Backup Systems (Mostly Veeam)

• Virtualisation (ESXI, Hyper-V)

• System deployment, MDM (Intune, JAMF)

• RAID Storage and SAN

• Linux Variants

• Networking

Strong technical skills are essential, along with an ability to adapt, learn quickly and work independently.

 

Required Qualifications/Experience

• Experience of working on a support desk or technical environment.

• Experience of supporting Mac and Windows Client/server operating systems.

• Excellent communication skills

Beneficial Experience

• Experience of media/print/publishing industries

• Firewall and networking technologies (Router setup, Firewall configuration)

• Email systems

• Command line (CMD, Shell, SSH)

• 4 years’ experience or more

• Full UK Driving licence.
